Tests were conducted on 4 older-model cars: a 1992 Alfa Romeo 164 3.0V6, a 1992 Mercedes Benz W124 300E, a 1985 BMW E28 520i and a 1983 BMW E28 528l. The reduction in CO emissions were respectively: 90%, 33%, 31% and 17%. Fuel consumption figures improved by maximum: 31%, 12%, 10% and 15% respectively.
